DOES GRADES MATTER AFTER ADVANCED LEVEL

Wow wow wow, I had to figure this out so that it can be of help to people like you. So many people ask themselves if grade matters after advanced level.

Studying at times becomes challenging that as a student, you try asking yourself if it is worth it. At times, you read but notice that you are doing a lot to cover your syllabus but at the end of the day notice that you still have a lot to cover and you cannot find yourself scoring those grades that you said you would get. It is at this point that people are, trapped. They ask themselves if grades really matter and I will answer this question in a short sentence by saying yes and no. 

It all depends on what you want to do after your advanced level. For example if you are thinking of continuing with business or joining the military, you do not need a lot to become one. With just 2 points, 3 points and above, you can make that dream come true big time. Whereas if you want to become a doctor, an engineer a lawyer an accountant and a journalist, just to name a few, then you are, often expected to have a required point set. Partly because some schools do not admit people with low grades because of the fear for low performance, and partly because the fields are competitive and your grades can eliminate you from the list of prospects.

Some fields require brains because of the quantity of material to be, studied for example, engineers are, expected to solve a lot, your final point is a reflection of the basics you have, and it is very important for selection during an entrance exam.

At the end of the day, I will love to say it is important to work hard, strive for a better point because it can be your backup in many areas and can ring opportunities to you for example you can easily get a scholarship if you scored between 18 and 25 points in your advanced levels. But whatever be the case, once you have a good combination and a good number of points you can Sir for national exams with no challenge. For example if you want to become a doctor in Cameroon, the only requirements as Advanced Level is Biology And Chemistry.

The best way to overcome situations like this in the future is by preparing for it.
